Ai Explorers & Keyboard Masters
AI Explorers & Keyboard Masters gives children ages 8-12 a powerful head start in both artificial intelligence and everyday computer skills. We guide young learners step by step, so they move from simply "tapping on a screen" to truly understanding how technology works-and how to use it wisely for school and creativity.
In this remote, live course, students explore core AI concepts in language they can understand: how computers learn from data, where they see AI in daily life, and what the future of intelligent tools might look like. Through age-appropriate activities and stories, we connect AI Concepts and Applications to real-world examples they recognize, so they see technology as something they can shape-not something that controls them.
At the same time, we build strong Basic Computer Skills. Students practice using a mouse and keyboard correctly, opening and saving files, and working with simple software-skills that make homework, online learning, and future tech classes much easier. We also introduce safe Internet Navigation, including how to use search engines, recognize trustworthy websites, and avoid unsafe links.
Keyboarding becomes fun instead of frustrating through edClub's Typing Jungle. With 600+ interactive lessons, on-screen hand guides, games, and instant feedback, children steadily move toward true keyboard mastery. Better typing means faster writing, less time on assignments, and more confidence in every subject.
Finally, we gently introduce AI Tools for Beginners, using kid-friendly platforms that require no technical background. Students see how AI can help them brainstorm stories, organize ideas, or explore new topics-always with guidance on using these tools responsibly. By the end of the course, your child will type faster, navigate the computer with ease, and talk about AI with the kind of curiosity and confidence that opens doors for years to come.
