AI Essential Tools is a remote, live course for adults and seniors who want to understand and confidently use modern generative AI without needing a technical background. We create a calm, step-by-step environment where you can ask questions freely and practice at a gentle pace.
Together, we explore four major AI platforms: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Claude. You learn what each one does best, how to sign in safely, and how to use them for everyday tasks-writing letters, drafting emails, organizing ideas, summarizing long documents, and more. We focus on plain language, not jargon, so the tools feel approachable instead of intimidating.
A big part of the course is learning how to "talk" to AI clearly. We introduce prompt basics-how to give instructions that produce useful, accurate results. You practice improving your questions, giving examples, and asking AI to revise its responses until they are closer to what you need. This helps you save time and avoid common frustrations.
We also show simple cross-platform workflows. For example, you might outline a report with one tool, refine it with another, and then move the final version into Word or email.
